Another affordable spot I LOVE is this Korean Spot that offers $5 dollar plates for Korean Street food! I always take people here from out of town and i’ll be creating a video soon but you guys get it here first! The plates are also big so need to buy more than 2 plates per person and eat it family style.

Salsa con Sazon, a salsa social celebrating Dominican and Puerto Rican culture will be happening this Thursday. Class starts @ 8 p.m.

Colombia meets LA with a concert featuring Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto, Romperayo, and Spaghetti Cumbia who bring together traditional and modern takes on cumbia.
People’s Yoga is joining We Flex for Immigrants, a nationwide weekend of wellness and solidarity from August 29–31. Yoga and fitness studios across the country, including People’s Yoga in LA, will host classes and donate 100% of proceeds to immigrant rights organizations..

Tierra Walking Club presents Summer’s Last Steps, a community walk followed by a mixer with drinks and gut-friendly snacks at a Latina-owned wellness bar.
Central American collective, Ambiente Central, is celebrating their 2 year anniversary with a food, dj and performances!
Lucha Libre isn’t just wrestling, it’s culture. AOn Saturday, Music Fight Network , an homage to old wrestling leagues is hosting an art show, showcasing Lucha Libre–themed pieces, with DJs playing right inside a ring.
