Events happening this weekend in LA (+ announcements)
Working with L.A. times, Fundraisers and more
Hey guys!
First off, thank you for your patience, I took a quick pause with everything going on in L.A. lately. But I’m back with an exciting update: I’m partnering with De Los at the L.A. Times this summer and officially taking over as their Event Plugseries! ✨What does this mean for the series?
Since De Los focuses on Latino-led events, I’ll still be posting extra events here too- especially the last-minute gems I always end up finding. I’m locking in Wednesdays as the weekly drop date for roundups, let me know what you guys think! This has been YEARS in the making so I’m excited to partner with them for the series to reach an even bigger audience
Most of the events I’ve been tracking are rooted in community and, more recently, many have turned into fundraisers or mutual aid drop-offs in response to the ICE raids, which makes them even more meaningful to support.
This weekend’s roundup includes community art shows, run clubs, dance nights, and a few summer pop-ups. I also added some exclusive extras just for those of you who subscribe ( perks 😌)
What I’ve been up to: protesting, watching Love Island, organizing fundraisers... and I just modeled for @hijadetumadre, a super cool Latina brand I’ve loved for years. Their new drop went live today so show them some love if you can here’s a little BTS
🛍️💖
