Lately I’ve been thinking about what it means to be multi-passionate, the kind of person who can love salsa nights, art shows, and a 5-hour DJ set all in the same breath. That mix is what keeps this newsletter fun for me, and hopefully for you too.

On Thursday,Casa de Lola will be throwing a free Salsa dance class and playing salsa all night
Plenazo Tribe, a group rooted in Puerto Rican plena traditions, is celebrating their anniversary with a night of music, dance, and community
Friday August 15
On Friday, Ladies night 🌹❤️ at Bennys boy brewing will be happening in Lincoln Heights. There will be Tattoos vendors a Dj and more!
Rock Nite L.A. will be collabing with Sticky Rice it’s free and for all ages throughout the weekend

Mas Amor is hosting a Kareoke Party Fundraiser for Street Vendors at the El Serena Market
Saturday August 16
On Saturday, Echo Park Rising is a free, all-ages block party with live music, art, and good food everywhere and starts at noon.
Suavecito, a new latino run club, is hosting a diner run this weekend and there will be post-run perreo in Santa Monica
Tierra Club, a walking club, is hosting a walk this Saturday in Larchmont Village
