Okay, first off, this summer is PACKED with events. Honestly, I think we’re stepping into a 2016 kind of summer -which means we’ll also be going out on weekdays and not just waiting for the weekend.
I’m also planning a mixer for us to meet! The theme will be around a World Cup singles & friends mixer - coming soon ! So stay tuned for that. Y’all heard it here first, so keep an eye out.

Meet & Greet with El Matador, Luis June 5 @Plaza Mexico Meet & Greet signing with Mexican soccer legend Luis Hernandez ‘El Matador’ and introducing Hernandez’s vintage-inspired special edition jersey. 🔗
El Futbol es del Pueblo is an opening art exhibit bringing together local soccer communities, art, music, and political education with a small sided cascarita (pick-up) street takeover. Del Pueblo para el Pueblo! (For the people by the people) 🔗
Cobi Jones at WSS shop in Long Beach (Sunday) 🔗
TOMA is happening this Sunday. TOMA’s is a Nike sponsored tournament with 14–18-year-old players redefining the future of soccer through community, creativity, music, and culture with the finale this Sunday and is open to the public. 🔗

Salsa con Sazon hosted by a Puerto Rican and Dominican collective is happening this Friday. They’ll have free salsa lessons a live band la compania and vinyl playing all night 🔗

Grand Performances returns to California Plaza for its 40th season of Free summer concerts in the heart of DTLA with Cumbia legends Grupo Sonador. All ages. Free w/ RSVP. (I honestly think this concert series is underrated!) 🔗
