Events happening this weekend (June 25-June 28) ⭐
World Cup events, free concerts & more
Hi guys!
Happy Thursday! ⚽
This weekend is packed with watch parties, fútbol festivals, community events, concerts, art shows, and a lot of ways to celebrate.
Also, I’m writing to you from New York right now! Currently covering the Toma Finals with Nike. The tournament is all about embracing street soccer and I’ll be following teens from L.A. who are competing for a one year Nike ambassadorship. It’s a three - day event with over 150 of the top teen ballers street tournament.
I’m on day two- but I’m already learning that some of these teens have received offers from scouts, took part in Nike’s viral AD (yes, the one with Cristiano Ronaldo), and how they’re unlearning perfectionism just by being a part of a street soccer program like this.
Personally coming from a family that’s always embraced street soccer, this experience has been everything. Can’t wait to share more!
Anyways, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite events happening from Thursday through Sunday, plus a few non-soccer picks worth checking out.
