Here’s what’s happening this weekend in L.A. (01/09-01/11)✨
2026 In: Finding community offline
Hi friends 🤍
I hope the first week of January gave you a moment to slow down, rest, and feel proud of making it this far.
With everything happening in the news lately, I’ll be honest, I couldn’t even finish watching some of it. If you’re new here, just know that my work has always been rooted in community. What started through organizing and showing up offline eventually led me here- and I’ve learned that real connection still begins in real life.
So these are my 2026 Ins and Outs:
In: Finding community offline
Out: Doomscrolling
Because joy is resistance.
It’s also been a year since the LA fires, a reminder of how deeply we need each other, especially in moments of grief.
